Little Bird has been having so much fun working on the website for a new business venture in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. Its Red Hot Center for Clay and the site has a custom calendar and registration form.

This summer has been a fun challenge so far. We recently launched two projects which includes the new site for Valley Motor Sports which has a custom sales listing. Another new site is for the Minnesota Grocers Association which features a custom password-protected members area.

We have been working with the parents and staff at Sunshine Montessori to launch a new site that is more useful for both prospective and current families. We love the results and how it reflects the personality of the school!

Little Bird just launched a new site for a deisgner of quilts and other custom sewn goods. The gallery is connected to Flickr which allows for easy updating.

A few days ago we launched a site for Salon Allure, a fashion show based in Miami. Little Bird worked with the talented designers at Gunner Design House (NYC) for this project.

In July, we launched a new website for Courtney Martin, a Brooklyn-based writer and speaker. We also launched a site re-design for At Home Child Care, a service that offers nannies and other child care help. Both sites have content management systems, which allow for easy updating.

We just launched the new website for the High & Mighty, a local 10-piece band that plays clubs, festivals and events. The new site allows them to reach a diverse client-base while communicating their fun and upbeat vide. It was developed with a content management system so the band can add new shows, events and band members at any time.

March was a busy month and it looks like we have another busy one coming up for April. Thanks to all of our Little Bird clients for keeping the work coming! In March we launched the new website for Arbors Edge, a new real estate development on the shores of the Big Souix River.

We had a fun project that was just completed for a professional golf instructor, Kathy Swanson. Its a place for her to promote her services, list her lesson schedule and let people know about her special services like Ladies Night Out and Girls Mentoring Programs.

For the Super Bowl, we sent out an email promotion to customers of Dino's Gyros for their catering services. The email got a great response with a 61% open rate. You can see this email and others in the portfolio here:

We recently launched a new blog for Shi Shu Style in conjunction with Zosel & Company. A blog is an easy way to keep your customers updated on recent news and events. It is also a great tool for keeping your customers coming back often to your website. We branded the blog to keep consistency with the rest of the site.

We re-launched Discount Home Center's site with a new membership center where clients can be automatically signed up for discounts. Little Bird Design tied that membership sign up to Campaign Monitor so Discount Home Center can keep track of their clients.

Little Bird Design had a design selected to be displayed in the Campaign Monitor Email Gallery. The project with Phil Holden was fun and I feel lucky to be displayed with really talented designers.

I am beginning a two-year post-graduate program at Minneapolis College of Art & Design focusing on print design. I have always been interested in print and I will be really excited to study it in more detail. I have always found web design to be a process of continuous education and hopefully this will fit right into that philosophy.
